Ellison Protocol built the BrothBuddy app as a freemium application. This service is provided by Ellison Protocol and is intended for use as is.BrothBuddy is a wellness and lifestyle app. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health, diet, or any medication.Information We CollectBrothBuddy collects information you provide during onboarding: age, gender, current weight, goal weight, lifestyle activity level, and diet preference. We collect broth logs, fasting sessions, gut check-ins, collagen intake, electrolyte and hydration logs, sleep data, mood scores, streak data, Broth Score, and transformation photos that you log within the app. We collect a randomly generated anonymous device ID to sync your data. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information unless you choose to provide it. We do not collect location data.How We Use Your InformationWe use your information solely to provide and improve the BrothBuddy experience. The information you log is used to calculate your Broth Wellness Index, track your streak, and generate personalized wellness content and companion guidance within the app. We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not share your information with advertisers. We never have and never will display advertisements within BrothBuddy.Data Storage and SecurityYour data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and synced to our secure backend servers hosted by Neon (PostgreSQL). Photos are stored securely and are never shared publicly. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3) for data in transit. Your data is never used to train AI models.Third Party ServicesBrothBuddy uses the following third party services, each with their own privacy policies:- RevenueCat (subscription management): revenuecat.com/privacy

We only feature vendors we genuinely endorse.SubscriptionsBrothBuddy offers auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Your use of subscriptions is also governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/Children's PrivacyBrothBuddy is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.Your RightsYou may delete the data stored locally on your device at any time by visiting the Profile tab and tapping Delete My Data. This permanently deletes all of your broth logs, fasting history, gut check-ins, streak data, collagen logs, transformation photos, and profile information from your device, and cannot be undone. To request deletion of any data that has been synced to our servers, email [email protected] and we will process your request within 30 days. You may opt out of push notifications at any time through your device settings. You may request a copy of your data by emailing [email protected].Changes to This PolicyWe may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the Last Updated date at the top of this policy.
